What is Poké Anyway?

Poké originated on the Hawaiian islands as a casual street food loved by tourists and the locals alike. It’s basically cube-cut fresh, raw fish often marinated in a mix of sesame oil and soy sauce, then mixed into a bowl with rice, veggies, and sauce flavorings. The cubed fish is actually where it gets its name. Poké (pronounced POH-KAY) is a Hawaiian word meaning “to cut crosswise into pieces.”

Think of it as sushi in a bowl,

with numerous different ways to combine ingredients.

The protein is really the star of the dish, and we’ve got fresh tuna, marinated salmon, exotic octopus, and real snow crab on our menu. Customize your bowl with a slew of nutritious veggies like avocado, seaweed, onions, carrots, and edamame. Top it off with some masago, tempura flakes, or sesame seeds and splash together a mix of sauce flavors.

We guarantee you’ve never tried anything like it!

Not a fan of seafood?  We’ve got a tofu option so you can still enjoy the flavorful dish, and most of our ingredients are gluten free. The popularity of poké is cutting across all sorts of backgrounds, from high school kids to savvy sushi connoisseurs. Everyone is loving the island goodness and we invite you to come give it a try!
